Notes :

Yorgos Sapountzis, born in Greece in 1976, is a contemporary artist now working from Berlin. His work experiment with monumental sculptures and its signification in public space and often features a mix of Installation, performance and videos.

On top of documenting several of Yorgos performance in Berlin i had the chance to collaborate with him on three specific video that were then projected as part of Yorgos's piece :

" Charlerois. In memory of wealth, celebration and religion " first presented in Mechelen as part of the Biennial of Moving Image 2009 and then part of a solo show in Loraini Alimantiri Gazonrouge in Athens.

" Die Arbeiter und die Badenden " Presented as part the exhibition "Based in Berlin" in Monbijoupark in 2011. This exhibition was presenting the work of some 80 emerging artist who live and work in Berlin.

" Viva Arte Viva " Presented at the Arsenale during the Venice Biennale 2017
